The trip is coming to an end
It seems hard to believe
With all the things you’ve seen and done
Leavings almost bitter sweet
No doubt you miss your family
And friends that are back home
But you’ve made friends and family here
That are just like your own
So much you still would like to do
Relations you’d like to build
Prayers you’ve placed on others
That you want to see fulfilled
It’s hard to think when you go back
That everything will change
But for those still struggling here
It all will stay the same
Sometimes with faith it’s hard to trust
In things you cannot see
But you have to remember
What he’s promised and believe
Take back with you what you have learned
Make everyone aware
And not forget to keep
All your new friends in your prayers
Allow the trips experiences
To help and make you grow
And stay with you as you return
Wherever you may go
Keep in mind the ones
That you made the journey with
