I can’t get this song out of my head; it has become my prayer. I keep telling the Lord to lead me and use me; prepare me, but take me to situations for which I never could have prepared. Lead me to places to where I couldn’t have wandered on my own, but only by the guiding hands of my Father’s grace. And when I get there, shatter my heart and show me what it means to be broken so I can find my holy discontent and spread compassion and grace over those I meet. Give me the courage not to simply wait for His children to be placed in my path, but to seek out those who need His love and mercy extended toward them at any given moment.
We have such an incredible opportunity here to learn, grow, minister, and love. Emphasis on love. We have been called here for a reason – each of us, perhaps, for different reasons. We are so grateful for all those who have supported our ministry, responding to the Lord’s prompting to make this ministry experience possible. And now we are blessed to bring all of this to fruition as we discover what the Lord has in store for us next and prepare our hearts for this emotional and spiritual journey of discovery, heart-break, and joy.
